The City of Sequence and the Forest of Echoes

Humanity once faced an extinction-level crisis, a genetic plague known as the "Silent Plague." It makes human descendants gradually lose their fertility, and civilization silently comes to an end. The last scientists were divided into two groups: the shapers: the compilers of genes, who believe that life is code, and perfection comes from design. The awakeners: the resonance of blood, who believe that life is a network, and that power comes from connection. When human beings are on the verge of extinction, the two groups decided to join forces to create the last Ark of Hope - a genetic complex called "Dawn". It combines the codifying power of the Shaper and the resonance power of the Awakened. In theory, it will be an existence that transcends all life and is the "savior" of mankind. Dawn helped humans dispel the Silent Plague, but humans were afraid of Dawn's power and sealed him away. The two factions continued to argue and finally launched a war. The outcome of the war was: both sides suffered losses. The Shapers retreated to the tower city "City of Order", while the Awakeners escaped into the last primeval forest "The Forest of Echoes".
