His name is Iska, a vessel. Locked in his body is a god capable of shaking up the world. Every time he is reborn, he strips away the last bit of humanity from his creator. The only purpose he was designed for was to be wiped out by his own hands one day - along with everything in his body, completely returned to zero. But he doesn't remember this himself. He wakes up in a bomb crater, amnesiac, unarmed, and hunted by the entire empire. A man with a scar on his face picked him up and took him back to an isolated city of defectors - a group of people who had had enough of the three hundred years of war gathered there and wanted to end it all, even if they were charged with treason. He learned to hold the knife again and got to know the vivid faces again. He thought it was a story about defying fate. He tried his best to live as a person who "will not be annihilated". But he gradually began to "see" some things that didn't belong here: the rain outside the classroom window, the lists plastered on the wall, and the harsh sound of brakes at a dusk intersection. Every time he was close to death, those images became clearer. He thought it was the sequelae of amnesia, the noise of a concussion, or the fragments of trauma picked up from the ruins of the battlefield. Until one day, he will discover a problem more terrifying than death: "If I don't belong to this world—then does everything I love really count?" He won't bear the answer alone.
