Yanqing

A treasured map appears, concealing the great secret of reaching the Mystic Lamp Realm. It sparks a battle between the founders of the six great sects. The battle also causes the mystic energy within the Xuan Kun Continent to leak away, leaving no one able to break through to the Mystic Lamp Realm for countless years. The map’s owner, Emperor Xiang, divides it into six pieces, giving one to each of the six great sects. He declares that whoever obtains the complete map can attain the Great Dao. Ten thousand years later, after failing the imperial examination, Deng Zijing heads to the Zhongdu Sword Sect to cultivate at his older sister’s urging. He faces one hardship and setback after another, until his sister’s tragic death drives him to leave the sect and embark on the path to the Great Dao.
