Steam and Moonlight

Chen Xu didn't expect that an unknown metal from inside the meteorite would transport him to a world where steam and magic coexist. Here, towering steam clock towers and glowing inscribed pipes frame the city's skyline, trains powered by alchemical engines roar overhead, and the moon is surrounded by a halo of magic visible to the naked eye. Before he could figure out the situation, he was given a shot of a "mimetic agent" by a female mechanic who smelled of engine oil, and was told that something on his body was broadcasting signals to the world like a beacon. Immediately afterwards, a group of black-robed guards known as the "Eye of the End" broke in and chased him for eight streets with their swords and staffs raised. On the top of the black spire in the distance, a pair of pupil-less blue eyes were slowly opening - and the direction they were looking at was exactly where he was. This world does not welcome outsiders. But Chen Xu soon discovered that there was nothing they could do against him.
