The Divine Firmament of Extreme Ice

The Snow and Ice Continent is a prison forgotten by the world.

A thousand years ago, the Ice Emperor used all his cultivation to seal the passage between the continent and the outside world, trapping himself in a rift in the void. From then on, this land was cut off from the rest of the world. Generation after generation made their homes here, while the bitter cold gradually eroded their bloodlines, transforming them into “Extreme Ice Veins.”

Extreme Ice Veins determine the speed and limits of one's cultivation.

Everyone takes pride in having a high star rating, never realizing that it isn't a gift at all, but a shackle.

In a rundown blacksmith shop in the western district of Stormwind City, Lin Fan has lived for fifteen years. He doesn't know who he is, where the golden diamond-shaped mark between his brows came from, or what price his one-armed adoptive father, Lin Qing, paid when he carried him out of an ancient ice cavern.

He only knows that he can't stop.

He practices the Icefall Art and hones his Snowfall Sword, waiting in the wind and snow for the scenes that haunt his dreams to come into focus:

A throne entombed in ice, a woman too beautiful for this world, a golden key, and a voice that has crossed a thousand years:

“Grow stronger, and then... come find us.”

On the day of the Extreme Ice Academy entrance trials, the moment Lin Fan lays his hand on the Extreme Ice Stone, light dormant for a thousand years soars into the sky. A ten-star talent, unseen in a thousand years. The entire crowd is shaken, and undercurrents surge.
