As all Vikings knew, a warrior's ax was worth more than his life. Helga believed this too - until he was dragged into a glacier on his first expedition. The ax sank. He was slapped in the face by the chief in public. "The dead can't take revenge, the dead can't protect anyone, the dead can't add a piece of wood to your mother's grave by the fire." From that day on, Helga stopped learning how to die. He learns how to live. But in this frozen land, it is harder to survive than to die in battle. And sooner or later, his ax will have to be fished out of the deep sea again.
