The Great Wei Female Coroner

A speaker for the dead, with keen eyes that bring justice to the departed. Jin Shu, a modern forensic doctor, finds herself in the Great Wei, a dynasty much like ancient China. To support her young brother, she disguises herself as a man and becomes “Master Jin,” respected throughout Dingzhou Prefecture. But her peaceful life is shattered when Prince Jing, Li Jin, drops into it from the sky. This “idle prince” and “spendthrift” uses a case involving a murdered woman as an excuse to bankrupt her, then uses money as leverage to recruit the widely praised “Master Jin” into the Six Fan Gate. By bringing this genius who can speak for the dead to the capital, might there finally be hope of clearing the wrongful case that drenched the city in blood six years ago?
