The Path of the Mind: The Qianyuan Continent

[No golden finger + xuanhuan + warfare + growth]

On the Qianyuan Continent, Jin and Xu have been locked in a standoff for a century. Warfires never cease along the border, and the people live in misery.

What good is loyalty without the strength to back it up? No matter how deep your loyalty, without power to support it, it's nothing but empty words.

Back in the day, Yang Yans father gave his life to hold off the enemy, creating a chance for the great general Wang Lie to turn the tide through his own sacrifice. He fell on the blood-soaked battlefield, leaving young Yang Yan only an embroidered banner bearing the words "Loyalty and Righteousness."

He enlisted at sixteen and broke through the peak of Body Tempering at twenty. Once an obscure nobody on the border, his fate was completely rewritten by the siege of Xinye. His adoptive father, Ma Zheng, was struck by a poisoned arrow from the State of Xu while saving him and now hangs between life and death. Yang Yan risked his life venturing deep into Bianshan to hunt a rock boar for its demon core, only to be grievously wounded by the beast, his dantian shattered and his cultivation utterly destroyed.
