It Will Teach You Everything

Cultivation in this world is not for the purpose of "seeking truth" or "ascension", but is a forced and cursed defensive process. In this world, as the civilization of cultivating immortals has become highly developed, the way of heaven itself has been contaminated by a strange concept called "The Darkness of the End of Law". This pollution made the way of heaven sick and "generous": it began to forcibly instill "the way" into all living beings, allowing the knowledge and techniques of cultivating immortals to appear out of thin air in the minds of mortals. But this "gift" is fatal. Once practiced, it is equivalent to "opening the door" to the way of heaven. The soul will be polluted and eventually become an out-of-control part of the way of heaven. The only way to resist is to "veto". Monks must constantly reject, deny, and even "kill" external "Tao" in order to maintain the purity of their own consciousness. Cultivation is a never-ending "rejection reaction".
