Douluo Dalu: Have You Ever Heard of the Surge of Everlasting Life?

A quick disclaimer: the author is a pure-romance fan, so this should have a single female lead. I've also made a few small changes of my own, such as moving the age for awakening a Martial Soul from six to seven. It's been a long time since I read the original, and I looked up some characters' ages, so they might not be entirely accurate. If that bothers you, don't read! Also, writing is just a hobby for me, so I'm very unlikely to abandon this book. I'll definitely keep updating until the ending! Rest assured, dear readers! ...And now, the real synopsis... After transmigrating into Douluo, Feng Ye awakens the ultimate life Martial Soul, the Heart of Life. From the start, he has a Hundred Thousand Year Soul Ring and gains two heaven-defying Soul Skills: First Soul Skill, Endless Life: No matter how severe the injury, instantly restores his health to 100%. Second Soul Skill, Ever-Flowing River: Converts life into Soul Power without limit. When his enemies throw everything they have at him and leave him on the brink of death, he casually says, “I hear the surging of endless life,” and his health bar instantly fills back up. When he's hit head-on by a Level 9 Fixed Soul Guidance Shell, everyone cheers, “He's almost dead! One more shot!” But he just smiles again. “I hear the surging of endless life.” Someone grits their teeth and roars, “Wear him down! Drain all his Soul Power!” The next second, the villain's signature cackle rings across the battlefield: “Ke ke ke ke! I hear the echo of the ever-flowing river.” As long as his first Soul Skill has Soul Power, he has infinite health. His second Soul Skill can convert health into Soul Power, so... who says there are no perpetual-motion machines in this world? Feng Ye scoffs. “Ke ke ke ke! I said I hear the surging of endless life. Are you all deaf?”
