I'm Here to Save the Hero's Party

There’s a legend in Lavakan that the Demon King currently seated on the throne in Demon King’s Castle is unbeatable. Anyone who tries to defeat him ends up falling apart for one reason or another before they can even lay eyes on him. The above statement is nothing but a rumor. Demon King Su Mu (P.S. Demon King’s Castle welcomes parties of heroes who come to challenge us. Present your Hero’s Certificate to the castle staff to claim one Demon King Challenge gift pack.) After learning that the latest party of heroes had wiped itself out halfway there because of infighting, Su Mu, who had been waiting for someone to defeat him so he could retire in style, realized he couldn’t just keep waiting. “Three years, then another three years. How many more years do they expect me to be the Demon King?” “Every time someone puts together a party of heroes, it’s all storms and squalls. If you want something done, I’ll do it myself!” “I’ll save the party of heroes!” He helps a fallen saintess, rescues a slave catgirl, encourages a self-doubting hero, talks sense into a rebellious assassin, and rouses a lazy mage, successfully putting together a new party of heroes. Watching the party flourish and prepare to set out to defeat the Demon King, Su Mu drinks a celebratory toast, looking thoroughly pleased. “Su Mu has always been there to help me, but I’ve never done anything for him. From now on, leave everything to me...” As he looks at the girl before him, Su Mu panics. He wants to be defeated, but not like this!!! “Someone, please save this messed-up party of heroes!”
