Three in the Morning: The Delinquent Girl Outside the Internet Cafe

After graduating from college, Yu Han doesn't want to toil away in a big city, so he opens an internet cafe in a county town.

Thanks to its low prices, the cafe becomes a gathering place for trendy young men and women.

He thinks he can build the business into something big and make it thrive, but instead he's constantly losing money, day after day and month after month, until he's sick of it.

One day at three in the morning, the internet cafe is vandalized. Exhausted in body and mind, Yu Han decides he'll shut it down once the month is over.

But when he comes back with two bags of barbecue, he is astonished to find a trendy young woman crouching outside the cafe. She opens with, “Mister... could you let me stay for one night?”

[Ding! Congratulations, Host, you've bound the Store Management System!]

[Recruit one employee, and the daily revenue of every store under your management will double!]

[Special notice: There is no limit to the number of employees. Each additional employee doubles the revenue again, with permanent effect!]

At that moment, the wheels of fate quietly begin to turn.

From then on, Yu Han ventures farther and farther down the road of recruiting employees.

Trendy young women, rebellious girls, the daughter of a local big shot, a wealthy woman fallen on hard times, the friendly aunt next door, aloof career women, fake socialites, cosplay models...

As one employee after another joins his ranks,

his business empire begins to expand.

Internet cafes, billiard halls, arcades, hotels, foot massage parlors, KTVs, bars...

Step by step, Yu Han builds his way up from the county town, to the city, then the province, and finally becomes the most famous entrepreneur in China.

When people ask him the secret to his success,

he has only one answer: “Understand your employees! Look after your employees! Care for your employees!”
