Reborn Class Adviser: Defying Fate

Ji Ling is reborn on the first day he becomes the homeroom teacher of KO One. Using his knowledge of the future, he accurately identifies every student's potential, secrets, and fate from his previous life. Rather than trying to forcibly suppress them as he did before, he tailors his teaching to each student. Combining the “art of imperial rule” with modern educational principles, he helps them untangle their emotional knots one by one and turns their “flaws” into unique strengths: teaching the hotheaded to study military strategy and become a spearhead, directing those obsessed with mechanisms toward weapons research, and guiding the business-minded in building an intelligence network. He works with Lan Siluo, one operating openly and planning every move, the other building up military strength in secret, gradually dismantling the schemes Wei Zhongxian has planted throughout the academy and beyond. The story unfolds through “breaking the deadlock, growing, and striking back.” Ji Ling not only leads KO One to make a stunning impression in the autumn examinations, but also turns these once-discarded pawns into hidden agents in government, the military, and commerce, weaving a vast web to challenge the eunuch faction. In the end, they will use the academy as their chessboard and the empire as their wager in a final showdown with the all-powerful Ninth Thousand Year Lord, a battle that will decide the fate of the empire. I chose this title because I really like the shows these two actors starred in,
