Proving Myself a Martial Emperor Starting with Daily Diligence

In the final years of the Divine Dynasty, rites and music have fallen into ruin.

At court, the Nine Sages attend the emperor, factions scheme against one another, and each side takes its turn in power.

In the provinces, noble clans rule as warlords and gangs abound, while their insatiable desire to use people as medicine goes unchecked.

As chaos approaches, the Medicine King spreads his faith and ravages the land, even raising the dead from their graves. Star demons manifest as divine beings and deceive the masses, sacrificing an entire city to give birth to a true demon.

Demons, martial artists, and their followers.

Amid the fog, blades flash and swords clash. Human hearts are like those of ghosts, and burning desire reaches the heavens.

Martial arts, spirit patterns, and deities.

In the midst of the fighting, the sky falls, the earth burns, and the rules are rewritten.

In this dark age, where geniuses are buried among the common folk and upright men die in the gutters,

Chen Jue awakens the supreme talent of the martial path: “Heaven Rewards Diligence.” Not a single drop of sweat he sheds will go to waste.

From the incomplete mental arts of the Six Directions Saber Art, he derives the Six Paths of Reincarnation Fist, a technique capable of destroying stars with one punch.

From the ancient, unremarkable Lesser Five Elements Art, he derives the Five Elements Heavenly Patrol Art, which creates five elemental clones and grants the power to split open the heavens.

One part effort, three parts reward!

Heaven rewards diligence, and I am the most diligent of all!

Before he knows it, Chen Jue has grown from a lowly patrolman at a guard station into an unrivaled Emperor who commands all the heavens.
