I'm an NPC in an Abandoned Game

I once logged into the game at the last second before logging into the server late at night. I have been in a daze in front of a black screen monitor. When I was in a daze, I was thinking - the person who stood with me in the end, what kind of person was he? He didn't know me, and I didn't know him, but we stood until the last second in the same world that was about to disappear. What is this connection? Like two strangers waiting for the last train on a platform that is about to be demolished. The train is gone and the platform is gone, but we are still there. I once thought: Are those NPCs still standing there after we go offline? Ten years later, I wrote the answer into this book. The world in the book is very quiet, with no players, no gold coins, and no rankings. There is only a group of forgotten NPCs, playing for themselves for nine years on a stage without an audience. I want them to be seen. I want characters who have never been clicked on to open a dialogue window to finally have someone willing to listen to them.
