Chronicle of the Abandoned City

This is an urban novel about fate, love, betrayal and redemption. The protagonist Zhou Shicheng came to Xijing City from rural Henan to work. He experienced the betrayal of his first love, the sudden increase in wealth, the breakdown of his marriage, and the test of friendship, and finally found the true meaning of life in the company of his daughter. The novel is based on the social changes in China in the decades after 1995, and hopes to show the epitome of the times from one aspect and one angle.
