Douluo Dalu: My Martial Soul Is Rugset, the Devourer of the Universe

Lu Chen transmigrates to Douluo Dalu and becomes an ordinary orphan at the orphanage in Spirit City. On the day of their Martial Soul Awakening at six years old, the other orphans awaken everything from sickles and hoes to plenty of Blue Silver Grass. When it is Lu Chen’s turn A terrifying shadow, vast enough to blot out the sky, crashes down from the awakening ceremony. Martial Soul: Rugset. The legendary Cosmic Devourer of the Ultra universe, with absurdly high stats in its left hand and even higher stats in its right, a top-tier monster that devoured countless ruined planets all on its own. The entire hall falls silent. The Spirit Hall attendant’s hands tremble. “W-what kind of Martial Soul is this?” Feeling the off-the-charts stats within him, Lu Chen grins. During the Battle of the Two Gods at Jialing Pass, Tang San activates his dual-god form and unleashes two divine techniques, Sea God’s Twilight and Asura Judgment, crashing down on Lu Chen with world-destroying force. When the dust clears, Lu Chen is still standing there. He brushes the dust off his clothes and yawns. “That’s it?” Tang San’s pupils quake. “Impossible! That was a strike from two gods!” Lu Chen sneers as the phantom of the Cosmic Devourer slowly appears behind him, blotting out the sky. “That’s the difference between worlds, Little Scumbag.” Rugset’s wings unfurl with a thunderous roar as cosmic-level energy gathers. “Whatever you have to say, tell it to my Requiem of Creation.”
