A blind luthier perceives the world through resonant frequencies and is hired by the royal family as a "humanoid lie detector." When interrogating the prince of an enemy country, she discovered that his heartbeat was exactly the same as hers - it turned out that they were both blinded by an explosion when they were young. She was rescued into the palace, but he was abandoned in the enemy country.
