Zhu Yuanzhang: Our Son-in-Law, an Exiled Immortal Descended to Earth

After transmigrating into the Ming Dynasty, Su Hang inherited a lowly ninth-rank post, the sort of minor official no one gave a second thought to. The post may have been low, but it came with all the necessary responsibilities. Su Hang launched sweeping reforms, developing irrigation, improving rice varieties, and overhauling the laws. He brought Jiangning County into perfect order. He also married the beautiful daughter of the blind old man next door. His career flourished, and he rose step by step to become the youngest and most promising prime minister of the Hongwu era. By any measure, he was living the dream. … I’m Zhu Chongba, the first emperor of the Ming Dynasty. While traveling incognito, I met an immortal in Jiangning County. He knows astronomy above and geography below, and can see both the past and the future. Biao won’t live past forty? Starting tomorrow, he’s going to the military camp to train. The Ming Dynasty’s two great generals? Nip them in the bud. The fourth son wants to rebel? Send him north to crush the remnants of the Yuan. The Jurchens of Jianzhou? Round them up and turn them into a hunting park. That immortal’s predictions never miss. I have to keep him close. Hmm… My eldest legitimate daughter is just the right age to marry. Surely she’s worthy of an immortal?
