Infinite Reality Show

[Come on! Win over the audience with your dazzling performance. Make them hold their breath, cheer wildly, and lose control of their heartbeats! Every choice, expression, and action of yours determines your popularity, and your odds of survival! Mr. Li Ang, will you remain a nobody or become world-famous?]

Li Ang, a food delivery rider, is pulled into an elevator accident and dragged into an interstellar reality show spanning multiple universes. Parallel timelines, alien battlefields, worlds of urban legends, and insectoid hives are all his sets. Watching from behind their screens are thrill-seeking viewers and alien sponsors wagering on his life.

The rules here are simple and brutal: please the audience, and you grow stronger; if no one pays attention, you’re headed for death.

So Li Ang makes a decision.

“If playing the victim puts food on the table, what if I risk my life instead?”

While everyone else begs for their lives on their knees, Li Ang starts courting death on his feet. He tears up the script, mouths off to the director, and turns the supposedly fatal traps set up by alien sponsors into spectacular counterattacks. The more the audience watches, the more hooked they get, and the more wildly they shower him with gifts.

But the closer he gets to the top, the more he realizes...

The end of this “show” is far more than a simple curtain call.

Every time he “courts death,” he touches another secret buried in the deepest reaches of the universe...
