Three Kingdoms: Reborn as Emperor Xian, Besieged by a Hundred Thousand Xiliang Soldiers at Chang’an

Good news: I got hit by a truck, but I didn't die. I transmigrated.

Bad news: I transmigrated into Emperor Xian.

Good news: At least in this timeline, Li Jue and Guo Si haven't reached Chang'an yet.

Bad news: Li Jue and Guo Si's army of a hundred thousand will be at Chang'an's gates in just four or five days!!!

I'm Emperor Xian of Han, and I'm numb. Completely numb! But it's fine. This is a crisis, and an opportunity.

I'm going to win the defense of Chang'an!

Only then will I have a chance to seize power, win the people's loyalty, shock the great clans, and strike fear into the warlords!

Then I'll march out through Hangu Pass, set my sights on Guandong, reclaim the lands of the Han step by step, restore the Han dynasty, and return to the old capital, building the Han dynasty anew for the third time!!!!!

But ideals are lofty, while reality is harsh. Right now, I have no soldiers, no people, and Wang Yun thinks I'm an idiot.

What do I do?

Step one to seizing power: talk Lu Bu into it.

Liu Xie: Bubu, you are the person I trust most!

Lu Bu: But I did it for Diao...

Liu Xie: Bubu, I know. Diaochan was just an excuse. You did all this for me! Bubu, you're truly a loyal minister of the Han!

Lu Bu: But I really...

Liu Xie: I hear you have a daughter named Lu Qiling, beautiful and charming. I adore her and want to make her one of my consorts. In a few years, she'll be my empress. Wouldn't that make Bubu the father-in-law of the Han dynasty?

Lu Bu: To help Your Majesty realize your ambitions, I am willing to serve you with all my heart!

Step two: talk Huangfu Song into it.

Step three: talk Wang Yun into it.

Step four: ...

Basically, I just talk until everyone is completely bamboozled.

At last, a few days later, Li Jue and Guo Si reach Chang'an's gates, and I'm numb! Completely and utterly numb!

Because...
