Fuchun Mountain Dwelling Map

Huang Gongwang, a painter at the end of the Yuan Dynasty, lived in seclusion on the banks of the Fuchun River in his later years and spent several years painting long scrolls. On the day the painting was completed, he gave the painting to his younger brother Wu Yong, saying with a smile: "This painting should be with someone who is destined to do so." Hundreds of years later, the painting was divided into two parts due to "martyrdom by fire" and traveled to both sides of the river. Until 2011, Shanshan Tu and Wuyong Shijuan were combined in Taipei. The river in the painting is still the same, but six hundred autumns have passed in this world.
