A Little Orphan from the 1970S Bravely Storms the Compound to Find Her Birth Father

Modern office worker Lin Miaomiao accidentally transmigrates and becomes Lin Daya, a poor girl abandoned in the countryside in the 1970s. Starving and freezing, beaten and cursed at every day, she lives worse than an animal. Unable to take it anymore, she sneaks onto a train and barges into a factory compound. She’s looking for her father, Lin Dahai, who remarried and rose through the ranks in the city, where he has a son and a daughter. She’s skin and bones, filthy, and stinking. Her sudden appearance sends the whole military district into an uproar. She acts pitiful to win sympathy in public, while secretly holding over a thousand yuan and carefully planning her every move. Her glamorous stepmother, Su Xiaomei, is gentle and magnanimous in public, but mean and contemptuous in private, making things difficult for her at every turn. Her spoiled twin younger siblings are domineering and see her as a thorn in their side. Facing cold relatives and a complicated compound, Lin Miaomiao puts aside her weakness and takes on her stepmother, face-slapping everyone who crosses her along the way. She’s determined to gain a foothold in the 1970s and rise above everyone else!
