The Star Behind the Moon

There is a star behind the moon. Very close, as close as only three inches. So far away that she never looked back. She didn't know his name, she didn't know he was once brighter than Sirius, she didn't know why he was so silent. All she knew was that wherever she went, he was there. Later, she finally remembered that there was once a mortal night watchman who held her in the heavy rain and said: "No matter who you are, no matter where you are, I will find you." He found it.
