Mythological Archaeology: Is Sun Wukong the Neon Guardian Deity?

“What, Sun Wukong is going to become the guardian deity of Neon?”

Lin Yang transmigrated to a world where the myths had been lost. Anyone who awakened a god’s projection could gain superpowers and become a Chosen of the Gods.

A Huaguo Mountain ruin appeared in the East Sea, with a stone statue of a divine monkey at its peak.

Neon called out the true name of [Sun Wukong] and became the first to awaken part of his divine projection. The whole of China was in an uproar, vowing to awaken Sun Wukong’s divine projection before Neon could.

Certified by the “Nine Holy Grails,” Lin Yang entered the [Sun Wukong] divine projection awakening event and succeeded in awakening [Sun Wukong]’s divine projection!

…

The Divine War began.

Chosen of the Gods from across the world came on strong, and Lin Yang stepped forward once more.

“Do you really think China has no gods who can fight?”

“Great Sage Equal to Heaven… Sun Wukong, where are you!”

“True Lord Erlang, the Sage Manifest… Yang Jian, where are you!”

“Great God of the Third Altar and Sea Assembly… Nezha, where are you!”

The Heavenly Court’s three greatest rebels appeared together. They unleashed the Heaven-and-Earth Transformation, treating the Western gods like ants!
