League of Legends: At Forty, I Am the Genius Veteran Mid Laner

At forty, the former world champion mid laner Chaser has been retired for twelve years. His daily life consists of streaming, grocery shopping, and picking up his daughter from school.

Then one day, the manager of OGS comes to his door.

“Brother Lin, the LPL is about to be dismantled by the LCK. We need you.”

Lin Xing glances at his watch. “I have to pick up my daughter in ten minutes. Get to the point.”

He thought he had left it all behind. But when his fingertips touch the keyboard again, he realizes that the heart that once chased the stars has never stopped beating.

Then let’s fight again!

Only this time, his teammates are a little unbelievable.

Top laner, 43, the old rival who once fought him tooth and nail.

Jungler, 41, his nemesis, who once ganked him into a 0-5 score.

AD carry, 38, who could win games with just three items and was once his biggest rival in the league.

The support is more familiar: a former teammate, now already 45 years old!

Five old guys, five tangled histories. Their average age is twice that of the players on any other team.

Now they sit together in the same practice room, staring at one another.

“Manager Sun, where did you find a whole room full of enemies?”

But everyone knows that in that era, China ruled League of Legends. Every tournament champion was right here in this room.

Veterans never die. They just need time to load their guns.

Let’s start with the Demacia Cup. The passion of five middle-aged men is officially back on air.
