Wrath of Ten Thousand Tribulations

In the 121st year of the Great Liang dynasty, Emperor Wen was captured. Powerful clans seized control, and the government fell into ruin.

The Xie, Chu, and Gu clans usurped the throne and installed the puppet Xiao Che. Loyal officials were wiped out, and the people were plunged into misery.

General Qin Jingyuan won victory after victory in his northern campaigns, only to be summoned back by nine golden decrees, framed, and killed. His entire family was falsely accused. His adviser, Lin Sanyang, was consumed by a blood feud after his parents perished in a fire. He went from retreating from the world to plunging into the struggle with a heart dead to everything.

He established an Inspectorate and took command of the Eagle Guards, wielding political schemes as his blade and cunning stratagems as its edge.

He would challenge the puppet emperor above, suppress the century-old clans in the middle, and purge treacherous officials below.

The world called him sinister and ruthless, a schemer in an age of chaos.

Only he knew that his wrath, forged through countless calamities, was meant to clear away old injustices and restore peace and justice to the realm!

The great clans were entrenched, imperial authority was a sham, the law had collapsed, and the people suffered untold misery.

Watch as one lone minister topples the rotten court through sheer force of will and restores the realm’s vast lands!

If benevolence and righteousness cannot mend this corrupt government, then it will be remade with blood and iron.

If the people have no voice in this chaotic age, then I will raise my sword and speak for them!
