After Breaking Ground

The seabed is covered with white sand bones and mechanical waste, and the past has been burnt by geothermal heat and blackened by charcoal fire. I don't know when it will be ignited, beating, bright red, and blazing to illuminate the black pupils of life. The silent black will swallow up all light, mix it into wisdom, mix it into hope, hysteria, shatter the cage, and live forever.
