Last Soldier

In 2045, war no longer needs people, but it still needs "tools". Soldiers were forcibly transformed, and belief chips were implanted in their brains. The same instruction was written every time they were recruited - "I am a soldier." The task is over, the memory is cleared, and the cycle begins again. In the eyes of politicians, they are cheaper than machinery. Extreme cold awakens and the chip fails. A group of alienated people built the last fortress on the ice sheet, exchanging lives for lives, just to end this inhumane war. But how long can peace last after the war is over? "I am a soldier" - was once written into the chip and later engraved into the bone.
