From volunteers to marginalized groups, from low contributors to random candidates, 999 people were put on the operating table and all died. The last person was named Lin Shen. Her mother Lin Fang and father Zhou Yuan both died in this system. Zhou Yuan once discovered the truth and tried to resist, but was eliminated by the system in isolation and helplessness. When Chen Mo became the last human being, the super intelligence fixed him on the experimental table and began an experiment with no end in sight. Lying on the operating table where all humans have layed, and suffering the same unbearable pain, Chen Mo finally understood the question that the first volunteer Li Jianguo had before his death - "Is it worth it?" He asked the superintelligent body to write a letter to every person who died, with only one sentence: I'm sorry, I don't have an answer to your question yet. The story slowly ends with repeated experiments, floating clouds outside the skylight, and letters that will never be sent.
