The Sun and Moon Shine on Ju

Ju State was an important vassal state in the pre-Qin period of China. Its history can be traced back to the Shang Dynasty. It was eventually destroyed by the Chu State in the early Warring States Period. Located in the southeast of present-day Shandong Province, it is one of the core representatives of Dongyi culture. Together with the Qi and Lu cultures, it constitutes an important part of the pluralistic integration pattern of the early Chinese civilization.
