Tears of the Modifier: Sobble Is Still Forced to Hustle Today

[Hell mode from the start? No, it's a joyride for troublemakers!]

On my first day after I transmigrated, I stared at the Sobble slumped in the corner, doing nothing, and fell into deep thought. Average potential? A bad attitude? Perfect. That's exactly what my technical trainer's makeover philosophy calls for! I whipped out the all-purpose Modifier and cranked its “Growth” into the rising half of an EKG, then trained its “Stats” into those of a well-rounded champion. The despair in my opponents' eyes made one thing clear: slacking off? Not a chance. The greatest hustle king of this century is about to be born!

[The romance of a hopelessly straight man]

The System suddenly popped up a message: “Host's straight-man talent detected: MAX. Passive skill unlocked: [True Steel Will]. Steel resistance +3, Fighting weakness removed!” Before I could laugh at this useless skill, the Crystal-type came out of nowhere: harder than steel, fourfold resistance to Water, Grass, and Flying, with Ground-type as its only weakness? Watching Aggron clad in a rainbow-glass armor and Metagross transform into a Cybertronian, I suddenly understood: the true essence of Pokemon battles is... fighting magic with magic!

[When a career cop storms into the world of Pokemon armed to the teeth]

Faced with the fact that gunpowder and firearms don't work in the Pokemon world, I hauled out the System's special-issue portable electromagnetic sniper rifle. “Darling, ever heard of a glass Zap Cannon? One shot turns your skull into a work of art, with a painless cremation service thrown in for free~” Salamence tried to roast me with Flamethrower? Crystal Rhyperior countered with a Diamond Storm to teach it a lesson. This cross-genre double act of physical exorcism and Pokemon battles had the outlaws wailing: “Dodge bullets before you fight Pokemon? Trainers these days have no honor!”
