The Haunted Rental

Shen Mo takes over the dilapidated apartment building his parents left behind, but discovers that none of its tenants are quite normal. He hears the sound of high heels late at night, yet no one has gone out. The smell of braised meat drifts from Room 404, which is supposedly unoccupied. Then, one day, he finds the first rule in the elevator: “If you hear a knock after midnight, do not check who is outside through the peephole.” And the rent he collects is paid by these unusual “tenants” in one thing: their fear.
