An Eerie Arranged Marriage: My Wife Is the Eerie Female Emperor

My name is Yang Jian. I live in a dangerous world where the weird can revive at any moment. Chosen by the Weird System as humanity's matchmaker, I was sent to the Other Shore. There, I met my match, the Blood-Clad Bride, and my wife, Zhong Jing. To survive and see my little sister and mother again, and for the sake of the entire Xia Kingdom, I have to max out her affection for me. So I started life as a househusband, preparing all three meals for her every day and spending every moment by her side. Other matchmakers' partners are fearsome, but she always acts cold and distant, and wears a red bridal veil to hide her face. I thought she was ugly, until the day I lifted her veil and discovered that she was actually... My name is Zhong Jing. As a remnant soul of the Nine Heavens Mysterious Maiden, I fought in the weird world for thousands of years and eventually became a Weird Empress, ruling over ten Weird Kings, hundreds of Black Robes, and thousands of Red Garments. Weary of slaughter, I once visited the human world. I saw humanity's dark side, but also felt the warmth of human emotions, and met a man who caught my interest. To avoid disrupting his life, I returned to the Other Shore and lived under an assumed name. But then, one day, that man knocked on my door and called me his wife. Though I am somewhat interested in him, I am the mighty Weird Empress. How could I just become someone else's wife? But he offered to take care of all my meals, keep the house clean, play with me, and serve me for the rest of my life... I... agreed. Mainly because his cooking is really delicious.
