1980: Reborn to Set My Life Right

Li Lin was reborn in 1980 and seized the opportunities he'd missed in his previous life from the start.

He disguised himself as a seller of cordyceps, gradually building up his initial capital.

This time, he would pursue happiness for himself and choose a virtuous wife.

Every move he made was unexpected, and the results left everyone dumbfounded.

Relatives and friends: We thought Dalin had gone crazy. In the end, it turned out we were the fools.

Leaders and colleagues: We thought Comrade Li Lin would regret it for the rest of his life. In the end, I was the one who regretted it.

In 1985, state purchasing and marketing ended. Li Lin seized the opportunity to rise, took over a highland barley liquor factory, and made a spectacular career change.

It was only many years later that his former colleagues, relatives, and friends realized that Li Lin had seized every opportunity and avoided countless detours throughout his life. All they could do was marvel that success was no accident.

This is the story of a veteran who became a purchasing agent, of a state-owned factory worker who quit to go into business, and of a man who rode the tide and reaped the rewards of his times.
