The Uncanny Physician's Nine Needles

I’m Lin Jing, a doctor whose life gets shorter every time I save someone.

Born with the Bloodline of Mending Heaven, I save people and feed the curse; if I don’t save them, I die on the spot.

The world’s rules have fallen ill

Shadows kill, organs spawn curses, buildings eat people, cause and effect are reversed…

I use the Nine Needles of the Occult Physician to treat the sick, prolonging my life with every life I save.

I’m not saving the world. I’m fighting to survive on a tightrope over death.
