Journey to the West Begins, So Where's the Monkey?

The calamity of the Journey to the West begins. All the gods watch, waiting for the stone monkey to be born. The next moment, the immortal stone explodes, and the monkey is gone! The Three Realms erupt in an uproar. The Buddhas rage, and Heaven frantically searches for him. They have no idea that the stone monkey, who was supposed to fulfill the calamity, has awakened a modern soul, activated the Calamity-Breaking System, blocked the workings of fate, and hidden in the shadows to cultivate in secret. The gods and Buddhas want him to protect the pilgrimage west? He would rather complete the eighty-one trials ahead of schedule. Whether they are pieces placed by the Celestial Court and Spirit Mountain or demons and monsters ruling their own territories, he will recruit them all! The three demons of Twin-Fork Ridge become his vanguard lackeys. The Black Bear Spirit and Yellow Wind Monster are seized and put in charge of guarding their lairs. The Queen of the Women's Kingdom becomes his queen, while the Peacock Princess willingly betrays Buddhism for him. Even the Yellow-Browed Monster, Maitreya Buddha's disciple, is turned to his side, and promptly blows up Little Thunderclap Temple. While the gods and Buddhas are still consumed by suspicion and frantically searching, every piece on the pilgrimage route has already become one of his people. When his identity is finally exposed, the Jade Emperor and Tathagata discover in terror that a Great Sage Kingdom has arisen in the Three Realms, a third great power standing as an equal to Heaven and Spirit Mountain.
