Wildfires Cross the Spring Breeze

This is a story about "redemption and dislocation". Two teenagers from broken families hugged each other in a corner of the county town to keep warm. The male protagonist uses degradation to cover up his desire for love, and the female protagonist uses sacrifice to express her dependence on love. Three years of passionate love was blocked by a high wall, and five years of military service reshaped the hero's flesh and blood. When he returned with the medal, he found that the girl who had given him all her living expenses had grown beyond his reach in his absence.
