The Starprint Chronicles: Oath of the Endless Winter

The bitter winds of the northern reaches of Faerun sweep across the Grayridge Mountains. At Blackpine Pass, caravans have been vanishing one after another. The sole survivor has been driven mad, muttering endlessly about living stone and shadows. Fear hangs over the town of Fallingstone like a storm cloud.

Yinxing Chen, a devout priest of Torm and descendant of astral guardians burdened by a fate passed down through generations, leaves the quiet of Neverwinter with his wife, Arebeth, a paladin of Tyr, to undertake a mission that was always theirs to fulfill. Thirty years ago, his ancestor made a bloodline pact to seal an astral rift deep in the mines, locking the life-devouring aberrations in darkness forever. Now the seal is breaking, the evil has returned, and the widening rift threatens the entire North.

To protect the innocent, Yinxing raises a banner to recruit allies. A rugged warrior, a nimble halfling rogue, a priest of the holy light, and a bard gather in the name of justice. This ordinary yet fearless company sets out for the brink of doom. They infiltrate the frigid mines, conceal their tracks with illusions, cut down the mutated monsters with holy power and blade, and confront the evil leader in the depths of the rift.

Torm's justice, Tyr's redemption, and the vigilance of the astral bloodline intertwine, and at last they restore the seal with an oath. There are no gods born to greatness, only mortals who hold fast to their convictions. They bear their fate with their own flesh and blood and drive back the darkness with courage, composing an epic of justice for the northern reaches of Faerun. At last, a legacy of protection spanning generations reaches its fulfillment.
