Crossing the Long Night

In this era, many people live in an invisible siege. Parents' expectations, academic pressure, realistic disciplines, and emotional suffocation all push people into silence bit by bit. It's not that you don't understand the difficulties faced by your elders, or that you don't love your home. It's just that no matter how deeply you understand, you can't erase the pain of your soul being slowly tightened. So those grievances, anger and unwillingness can only be tightly grasped in the palm of the hand, and together with the self who longs for freedom, they are pressed into the bottom of my heart. Until one day, people are on the verge of collapse and fall into another world. There is a warmth that has never been truly experienced in reality, a friendship that can walk side by side and depend on each other for life and death, and a path that can finally be chosen by oneself. But another world is not a pure land, and the truth of desire, hypocrisy, power and blood also lurks under the gentleness. People meet in the dark and illuminate each other in the wounds. This is a story about repression, escape, loss and redemption. It is also a story about how contemporary people get rid of control, go through the long night, face themselves, and finally live as truly free people.
