My Clone Is a Deep-Sea Demon

In my previous life, I’d barely ever killed a chicken.

When I opened my eyes, I’d become a giant shark in the deep sea.

There was no way for me to survive in these waters. Humans hunted my kind in droves, using our dorsal fins for food.

I focused on growing stronger.

A giant whale blocked my way? I tore it apart. A fleet harassed me? I sent it to the bottom.

My fearsome reputation spread across the sea. I became the nightmare of sailors, a demon whose name terrified everyone who heard it.

The Knights hunted me down, the Church put me on trial, and the duchy offered a bounty on my head.

They thought this was just a game of hunting monsters.

They had no idea I was human, too.

The gentleman who was unfailingly courteous on land was me, and so was the demonic shark that struck terror into the hearts of all who saw it.

Wearing a human skin, I infiltrated human cities and manipulated events to serve my interests.

I thought I’d long since become a complete villain, just waiting for some brave hero to appear and cut me down.

But what I never expected was this:

The humans who had witnessed my fearsome might began to kneel and worship me.

“Great Sea God, please protect your people.”
