All Things Come to Life

In 2743, Earth is dying. As the ice caps melt, sea levels surge and swallow the cities of old. Even deadlier is the legacy of nuclear war: thousands of damaged reactors continue to leak, turning the oceans into glowing, radioactive poison. Life has nearly vanished. The land has become a wasteland, radiation clouds ravage the skies, and survivors struggle amid ruins and mutations. To fight this ultimate catastrophe of their own making, humanity launches the desperate “All Things Thrive” initiative, gathering the last technological wonders of civilization: the orbital fortress and mothership Luan Niao, the energy source Eastern Super Ring, the planetary-repairing giant Spine of the Earth, and the deep-space ark starship Xuan Yuan... Yet however powerful these great machines may be, they are no match for the depths of the human heart. Three years after the plan begins, suspicion, greed, and betrayal... All Things Thrive is an epic tale of desperation, powerful machines, and human nature. It portrays the ultimate question facing human civilization when technology reaches its peak yet still cannot bridge the chasms in people’s hearts. In the fading light of the apocalypse, the most powerful weapon is not a particle cannon, and the hardest war is not against nature. It is a last stand against the darkness within ourselves. Hope may spring from the deepest despair and the most unyielding resolve.
