The Silent Epitaph

Chen Yan, 32, was the former head of the Major Crimes Unit of the Criminal Investigation Brigade. He left the force after being injured in an old case. Now, acting on an anonymous commission, he heads to Beilu. He has exceptional deductive skills and a keen eye for detail, believing that no clue is too small and no logic should have a blind spot.

Within seven days, five connected locked-room murders take place in Beilu. All the victims are directly linked to the unsolved Beilu Girl Disappearance Case from ten years earlier.
