Embers of Peace

He was once a physician who saved lives, but the cruel world drove him to become a rebel.

When he was ten, he found a moldy ear of wheat by the Yellow River. He carried it with him for the rest of his life.

His father was killed by a powerful landowner, and his dying mother entrusted him with a jade ring. He wandered for twelve years, seeing an old craftsman work himself to death beneath a monument to his good deeds and the people starve while the government granaries remained locked. In the Taihang Mountains, he dug a grave with his bare hands, his fingers bleeding, and obtained the complete Taiping Scripture.

Thirty years later, standing on a high platform, he roared those sixteen words:

“Heaven is dead, the Yellow Heaven shall rise. In the year of Jiazi, may all under Heaven prosper!”

Eight provinces rose in flames, and the realm was shaken.

But this road led to mountains of corpses and rivers of blood.

One of his younger brothers died in a sea of fire. The other died on the execution ground.

He lost. But he said:

“Heaven can be shouted to death.”

Eighteen hundred years later, a temporary worker named Zhang Sansan was struck by those words.

He sat at his computer and typed three hundred thousand characters, bringing that man back.

As for who he was

A demon bandit, a hero, a madman, a sage, a loser, a man who would not kneel

You can decide for yourself.
