The Legend of Demi-Gods: the Lost Bead of Mantu

Mr. Jin Yong's "The Eight Parts of the Dragon" is like a magnificent landscape splashed with ink, outlining the bloody storms of the world and the tragedy of family and country in the late Northern Song Dynasty. However, beneath that grand narrative, there are countless unfinished sighs and regrets of "not being able to get what you want". A'Zhu's dream of stuffing cows and sheep, Qiao Feng's tragic suicide, Duan Yu's obsession that finally came to nothing, Murong Fu's madness and Wang Yuyan's loss... The fate of these characters is like a broken harp, the lingering sound always leaves an unquenchable wave in the listener's heart. This work, "The Legend of the Mandala", is an attempt to write a coda about "reconciliation" and "consummation" after this grand tragic song. We do not want to subvert the tragic aesthetics of the original work, but we hope to add a touch of warm human fireworks to the desolate background.
