The Post-00s Shake Up the Market, Starting with Renovations

With the economy in decline and the industry in a slump, renovation worker Xu Zhuo had gone two months without a job. He only stopped by a friend’s new home to see how the renovations were going, but ended up getting a harsh lesson in what a shoddy contractor could do. The walls weren’t level, the tiles were hollow, the waterproofing had only one coat, and they hadn’t even done a water-tightness test! Never mind that they hadn’t wrapped the drainpipes in soundproofing, but they hadn’t even installed a weak-current box? Worst of all, they hadn’t even fitted a toilet flange! Six wires jammed into one conduit, tiles stuck straight onto plasterboard, load-bearing walls knocked down on a whim. These scumbags weren’t just lining their pockets, they were putting lives at risk! Xu Zhuo couldn’t help asking, “Has the industry really gotten this bad?” Since he had no work anyway, Xu Zhuo reinvented himself as a post-00s blogger determined to clean up the market! Cut-rate renovations, rigged scales, workplace gaslighting and empty promises, reckless lane-cutting, expensive property management with terrible service, shady dual contracts... Xu Zhuo takes on all kinds of industry malpractice! Put up with it for a moment and you’ll only get angrier. Back down and you’ll only feel more cheated. Rather than driving yourself crazy, why not go all out and let off steam! Don’t talk to me about cutting corners, one-sided contract terms, or crooked tricks. I only care about national standards and the law! Hard to handle? Then we’ll handle it by the book! His motto is simple: no letting bad behavior slide, no compromise. In his words: “If you dare rip me off, I’ll clean up your entire industry!” That night, the whole internet was moved to tears, flooding the comments with: “Strongly recommend welding this post-00s kid to the front line of the market!”
