Behind the Blackboard

Twenty years ago, when the old teaching building of Qingjiang No. 1 Middle School was demolished, workers discovered a blackboard in the wall at the end of the third floor. The blackboard is embedded in the load-bearing wall, with an empty mezzanine attached to the back. No one knows how it got in or where it came from. The principal at the time had it smashed into pieces and taken away. The next day, five workers involved in the demolition disappeared at the same time. Twenty years later, Lu Yan, a freshman in high school, walked into the gate of Qingjiang No. 1 Middle School. He didn't know that there was a legend in this school - never pass the site of the old teaching building alone. He didn't know that the mirrors in the dormitory building would reflect things that shouldn't appear late at night. He didn't know that after the blackboard was smashed, the fragments did not disappear. Instead, they were built into the wall of the new building, waiting quietly. And now, it was waiting for him.
