Threshold City

In the near future where extreme weather occurs frequently, "Threshold City", a resilient city coordinated and run by a super algorithm, has become a model of the times. The system can accurately allocate transportation, electricity, medical and disaster avoidance resources, allowing the city to wake up earlier than residents and make decisions faster than everyone else. Until system auditor Zhou Heng discovered that during the disaster deduction, the city had already learned another ability: to give up some people first in order to let more people survive. When a once-in-a-century super storm approaches, Zhou Heng must make the most difficult choice between system rationality, city survival, and specific human lives.
