During the Chongzhen period of the late Ming Dynasty, Su Yanzhi, a weak scholar from the south of the Yangtze River, originally wanted to protect the cultural heritage with his pen, ink, and needlework, but he witnessed his mentor being wronged, his embroidery worker dying tragically, and his best friend martyred for his country while the mountains and rivers were shattered.
