The Journey of Songs

In 1348, the shadow of the Black Death enveloped Europe, and the Hundred Years' War was grinding the earth into scorched earth. The English bard Thomas walked in troubled times with a lute on his back and a blank notebook. He is neither a knight nor a noble, just an ordinary person who can sing. He made a vow: before the smoke clears, he will travel across the European continent to collect those love stories that will be crushed by the war - those souls that were met by war, broken by betrayal, and immortalized by watching. From the gray coast of Scarborough to the misty rocks of the Rhine, from the shabby huts in the snow in the wild forests of North Germany to the border valleys of the Grand Duchy of Moscow, Thomas met the woman who had been waiting for him all his life, the girl who threw herself into the river and turned into a resentful spirit, the waiter who froze to death in the wild forest, the girl who sang to watch the front line, and the soldiers who could never return home. He wrote their stories into ballads, allowing the nameless people to gain immortality in their songs. The journey of songs is the journey of life against forgetfulness.
